How loud is it? Can I use it in a residential area?
The G3 can range in volume from 110dB up to 125dB. All propane cannons are loud, so please check with your local city/county noise ordinances. Many farming communities will have special regulations regarding the use of scare cannons.

What a difference!
Our first unit was defective so we returned it for a replacement. Super easy, no hassle process.
The replacement unit seems to be working just fine. Our neighbor has two of the most obnoxious barking dogs EVER! One of them now heads back to the house whenever she hears it. The other may take some extra time to train, but we've already seen improvement in his behavior.

Offered plenty of extra length so we could place our unit along the fence line where it would be the most effective. I was worried that the attachment point to the unit wouldn't be waterproof, but it's withstood some pretty hefty storms this spring and still works great.

Our neighbor has 3 dogs, they have been so annoying with their continuous barking, even when we are inside our home. Once we received the Dog Silencer Max, put batteries in, turned it on and set it by the fence. Once the owners let the dogs out of their house the dogs came running and barking towards the fence, it all came to a halt. They backed off away from fence about 50 feet and quit barking after about 10 minutes, awesome! Now when the owners let the dogs out, they stay about 50 feet from the fence and seldom bark!!! I'm sure the owners are wondering why their dogs are not barking much anymore! Thank You for putting out a great product!
