This Fourth of July, Celebrate St. Louis brings back the biggest celebration in town.

For America’s 248th birthday, the celebration kicks off when the Misty Blues All-Female Skydiving Team takes its first jump at 10 a.m.Planned events for the day include:

  • 10 a.m. - America’s Birthday Parade: The lineup will wind its way West along Market Street, against the backdrop of the Gateway Arch. Expect vibrant floats of all shapes and sizes, live performances and marching bands galore.

  • Noon - Food and beverages: Vendors will open along the riverfront on Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard, next to a Family Fun Zone.

  • 12:30 p.m. - Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation Teen Talent performance:Local high schoolers perform.

  • 4 p.m. - Eads Bridge 150th Anniversary: The Missouri History Museum joins to mark this milestone.

  • 4:15 - 9:40 p.m. - Live music: FEEL, Lupe Fiasco, LOCASH and the Urge perform under the Arch.

“I hope families really enjoy getting to see their city and seeing all the organizations that are involved, and getting some great family time,” Tim Meers, general chairman of Celebrate St. Louis, says.

In addition to their annual Independence Day festivities, Celebrate St. Louis produces year-round events, such as the Gateway Legends Tournament esports tournament.

“There is something for everyone,” Meers says. “I’m most excited about showing off all of the elements that the community has historically been a part of.”
