Somebody bought a winning lottery ticket worth $260,000 at an Omaha smoke shop.
The ticket matches all five numbers — 3, 17, 23, 26, 33 — in Wednesday’s Nebraska Pick 5 drawing. It was purchased at Tobacco Outlet, on Cass Street near 77th Avenue. The winner overcame odds of 1 in 658,008.
Nebraska Pick 5 is a daily drawing that starts with a jackpot of $50,000 and grows by $10,000 each day there is no winner. The last winner was a group eight people calling themselves “The Accountants” from a Lincoln architecture firm, who split a $50,000 jackpot from the April 23 drawing.

An Omaha woman also claimed a $140,000 prize from the April 22 Nebraska Pick 5 drawing. Her name is not being released because she requested anonymity.
Winners have 180 days after the drawing to collect the prize. A $200,000 jackpot from the Dec. 3, 2023, drawing is set to expire May 31. It was purchased at a Kwik Shop convenience store in Falls City.

Unclaimed prize money is returned to the lottery pool.
A $50,000 winning ticket in Monday’s Powerball drawing was sold in Lincoln at a Super C convenience store at 1700 L Street. The ticket matched four of the five numbers on the white balls (5, 14, 29, 38, 66) and the red Powerball number (1).
